Equinor and Captura announced a partnership to develop industrial scale solutions to remove CO2 from the ocean. The partnership will begin with a pilot plant in Norway that removes 1,000 tons of excess CO2 from the ocean annually.

Equinor has acquired a 25 percent interest in Bayou Bend CCS LLC, positioned to be one of the largest US carbon capture and storage projects located along the Gulf Coast in Southeast Texas.
