Coastal Bend LNG, developer of a multi-train natural gas liquefaction and export facility along the Texas Gulf Coast, announced it has commenced a front-end engineering and design study with Solvanic for electrochemically mediated amine regeneration carbon capture at its Coastal Bend LNG facility.
An industry consortium comprised of leading steelmaker sare undertaking a pre-feasibility study to assess the development of Carbon Capture, Utilisation and Storage (CCUS) hubs across Asia. The CCUS Hub study is the first independent industry-led study of its kind in Asia and will examine the technical and commercial pathways to utilising CCUS in hard-to-abate industries across Asia.

Global energy technology company SLB has been awarded a technologies and services contract for carbon storage site development in the North Sea by the Northern Endurance Partnership (NEP), an incorporated joint venture between BP, Equinor and TotalEnergies.
