INPEX CORPORATION announced it has signed an agreement with Chubu Electric Power Co., Inc. through its subsidiary INPEX Browse E&P Pty Ltd to conduct a joint study to assess the feasibility of establishing a Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS) value chain involving the capture of CO2 in Japan and its transportation from the Port of Nagoya in Aichi Prefecture to Australia for storage.

INPEX Corporation, Air Liquide Group, LSB Industries, Inc., Vopak Moda Houston LLC, and have agreed to collaborate on the pre-FEED for the development of a large-scale, low-carbon ammonia production and export project on the Houston Ship Channel.
