Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Ltd. (MHI) has concluded a license agreement with Kellogg Brown & Root, Ltd. to provide CO2 capture technology for a low carbon hydrogen production plant being established in Cheshire in northwest England.

Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Ltd. (MHI)'s technology is being deployed by leading global cement manufacturer Heidelberg Materials UK, for Front End Engineering Design (FEED), to further study the specifications of a CO2 capture plant at Padeswood Cement Works in Flintshire, UK.

Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Ltd. (MHI) agreed with The Kansai Electric Power Co., Inc. (KEPCO) to install a CO2 capture pilot plant at Himeji No.2 power plant in Hyogo, Japan.

SBM Offshore and Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Ltd. have announced the signing of a Partnership Agreement that will offer a CO2 capture solution for Floating Production Storage and Offloading vessels as they are producing oil and gas offshore.

The new facility is purposed to develop fuel production and combustion technologies, aiming for increased use of hydrogen, biomass and ammonia.
