Aequor Inc.

Aequor's water treatments and surface cleaners prevent bacterial contamination and microfouling (corrosion, scale, slime) for days and remove exisitng biofilm in minutes. This extends the stability of biofuels and protects capital equipment. All of Aequor's products are EPA/TSCA-appproved as non-toxic and "green." They are inexpensive, available in commercial quantities and validated by DOE and multinationals to save time, manpower and money. They work in combination with current treatments, "potentiating" them to work at 1/10 of the normal dose.

Nikua Training Center

Nikua Training Center, USA registered 501(c)(3) educational non-profit corporation is the developer of state-of-the-art microscale chemical reactor technology used for production of renewable hydrogen from biogas, natural gas, and refinery light ends. Nikua Microscale chemical reactor technology is also used for production of 2nd generation advanced biofuels that are used as jet fuel, marine diesel, and on-the-road diesel fuel meeting international fuel quality standards. Nikua Training Center is dedicated to the benefit of isolated communities in need of food security, energy security, and income security. We carry out our mission by establishing community owned, vertically integrated, food & biofuel production business units in Pacific Island Countries, with the goal to extend our efforts to Central America and tropical regions around the world. Nikua delivers workforce training in food production, food safety hazard analysis, chemical process technology. Human resource development is the #1 outcome from Nikua village-scale business units that are cash-flow positive and are a fit to the culture of isolated communities. Nikua will encourage women’s groups to manage business units. Material flows & technology incorporated into Nikua village-scale business units on remote pacific islands include production of carbon-negative biochar soil amendment, production of animal feed, wastewater treatment, provision of safe drinking water, production of activated carbon, biodiesel, and advanced hydrotreating technology for production of 2nd generation carbon-negative marine diesel. We wish to thank our partners in Pacific Island Countries including the Fiji Ministry of Transport and Public Works, the Fiji Department of Energy, the Institute of Applied Science at the University of the South Pacific, The Global Green Growth Institute, the Vanuatu Ministry of Trade & Commerce, and the World Bank.

PCC Hydrogen Inc.

PCC Hydrogen (Louisville, KY) developed a patented technology that enables the production of negative-carbon intensity hydrogen from ethanol via a catalytic oxidative reforming process. With CCS, the technology can qualify for the Clean Hydrogen Production Tax Credit (45V). Even in the absence of CCS, the hydrogen should qualify for D6 RINs (application in final review with EPA) and Section 45Z Clean Fuel Production Credit. The company is piloting its process in Cloverdale, IN with operations providing commercial supplies of hydrogen in July 2026. One of the key advantages of ethanol is its potential as a hydrogen carrier due to its relatively high hydrogen content (132 g H2/gal) This makes it a more effective carrier than other popular options such as methanol, ammonia and liquid hydrogen (!). With the existing infrastructure and logistical framework, this is an important advantage of ethanol when it comes to providing hydrogen at the point of need. With an annual production capacity of 17.7 billion gallons in the US, ethanol has the potential to play a significant role in the renewable energy space.
