UK-based global renewable energy company, Low Carbon, has announced that it has entered into a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with Deep Sky, the Quebec-based carbon removal project developer.
California Resources Corporation (CRC) and its carbon management business, Carbon TerraVault, announced approval of the Golden State’s first carbon capture and storage project, located at CRC’s Elk Hills cryogenic gas plant in Kern County, California.

Northern Lights JV announced that the second CO2 transport ship, Northern Pathfinder, has been delivered at Dalian Shipbuilding Industry Co. in Dalian, China. The Northern Pathfinder follows the Northern Pioneer, which was delivered in November this year, and will play a crucial role in safely transporting liquefied CO2 from industrial capture sites in Europe to the Northern Lights receiving terminal in Øygarden, Norway.
MAIRE announced that NEXTCHEM, through its subsidiary Stamicarbon, has been awarded new contracts related to its proprietary NX STAMI UreaTM technology in Canada. Thanks to a carbon capture and sequestration unit, it will be the first proposed low-carbon nitrogen fertilizer plant in Canada.
