Messer has commissioned a new plant for the production of green CO2 at its Vrdy site in the Czech Republic. This will increase the security of supply for Messer's customers, such as the local food and beverage industry. This is particularly important in the summer months, when the demand for carbon dioxide for soft drinks or cooling technologies is particularly high.
